Amber Lenon
"The day of the GW151226 press conference, I got phone calls from someone at Syracuse who wanted to set up interviews for me in my hometown. I gave interviews to three local news channels and ended up on TV. At one of the interviews I watched part of the press conference while being recorded and the biggest smile appeared on my face when I saw the plot I made show up in the press conference."
Amber Lenon is a graduate student at West Virginia University who searches for eccentric black-hole and neutron-star mergers with Advanced LIGO. She recently helped organize the 2016 APS Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics hosted at Syracuse University. When Amber is not doing science she enjoys coaching and playing soccer.
