Beverly Berger

"My husband and I started hiking together when were graduate students a very long time ago and have continued it for many years -- hiking, backpacking, mainly in the western US and Canada but also in the East and Europe. Wherever we get the chance. My favorite is Yellowstone. We've backpacked through it many times, about a week at a time every few years."


Beverly Berger is a visiting scholar at Stanford University who has worked broadly in LIGO, from managing data-quality activities to reviewing public data releases to supporting LIGO members as the collaboration ombudsperson. Outside of her research life, Beverly likes reading mystery books and playing with her cat.
